Wednesday, Feb 3rd we will be snowshoeing
Monday, Feb 8th we will be building an ice castle
Tuesday, Feb 9th we will be going sliding
* for the ice castle, milk cartons will work as well as juice cartons. As long as it is a rectangular shape and not rounded. *
Here is the song we have been learning:
This week we worked on the letter "Vv- le vent". We focused on the sound difference between "V" and "F" and started doing consonant/vowel blends like "Li,Va, Vi". Can your child name any words that have the sound "V" in French?
We also continued our work with number bonds. We are practicing how to break apart numbers into smaller parts using manipulatives and as a step further how to represent them using an equation. We are also working on how to draw each number correctly and how to write them using words.
