October 26th-30th
We had such a busy week this week! We started learning about Remembrance day and why people wear poppies for the month of November. The kids have been working hard on creating a project for the virtual Remembrance Day assembly-it will be added to the Blog on November 10th. We have also started to learn vocabulary for Remembrance Day like un coquelicot and un soldat. We will be continuing this next week. We have also been working on counting backwards from 10 and recognizing numbers 1-5 out of order in French. We will be working on recognizing numbers on a number line, in a ten frame, in dot form and in tally form. Starting on Monday, we are so lucky to have a student teacher joining us from U of C.
