September 28th-October 2nd

                                                                     Welcome to our Blog!

This week we have finished learning all about Primary Colors and why they are so special. We then mixed all our primary colors together in different combinations to see what Secondary colors we could create. Brown was the hardest color to make because we needed to mix all three primary colors together!

We have been also working on understanding number 1-10 in French and then representing them in different ways. This week we looked at ten frames and how to properly fill one out to help us with subitizing.  We have also been practicing how to create our own patterns using colors, drawings and different objects.

Upcoming Events:

-We will be heading to the Coulee on October 6th to meet with our Elder Sa'akokoto. This will be a walking trip, please wear comfortable walking shoes to school on this day and dress for the weather. We will also be eating snack at the Coulee. Please pack a "pocket  snack" like a granola bar or a cheese string so it can be carried in and out of the Coulee.

-Picture day is on October 7th

-Please print and fill in the Digital Citizenship paper work that was sent by the office earlier this week.

Song of the week

-Les Couleurs Primaires
-Le Boogie-Woogie des Chiffres
