April 19th - 23rd
Bonjour chers parents,
We have had a fantastic first few days together, here in kindergarten! Lots of fun, learning, growth and laughs have been shared! I very much look forward to the next two months, where the students and I will get to know each other better, and continue our learning and growing together!
New and Exciting!
-We have been discussing weather during our morning routine and have added the job of "météorologue" to our calendar routine! Students have learned words such as "pluvieux" (rainy), "ensoleillé" (sunny), "venteux" (windy), "nuageux" (cloudy), "enneigé" (snowy) etc.
Here is a song we use to accompany our learning:

-Many new activities have been introduced to our center time this week! Please feel free to ask your
child about their favourites and what skills they are developing while playing!
-As the days are getting warmer (hopefully?) and exciting spring changes are starting to be more visible, we will be spending more time outside! Please ensure your child comes prepared for whatever mother nature throws our way, so we can enjoy the great outdoors and the fantastic spaces we have access to!
-Starting Tuesday April 27th (and going until Friday, May 7th) we will have the treat of participating in the Sound Kreations Dance residency! Students are very excited to meet their instructor AJ and get moving through dance!
Please ensure students come prepared with loose clothing, appropriate footwear and a bottle of water.
Important dates:
April 26th-Non instructional day (no school for students)
April 30th- PM kindergarten
*Dance residency-Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th
May 4th -Library
Please see photos of our learning and play below!
Again, I am very excited to be teaching the bright, shining faces of your children! It is certainly a privilege to be a part of their growth!
-Mme Caroline
