This week we have started working on C'est l'hiver. We are practicing saying full sentences by inserting our new vocab words we are learning about winter; " Pendant l'hiver j'aime......" . we talking about all the different things we love to do during winter like skating, drink hot chocolate, build a snowman and building snow forts.

We are also getting prepared for our Winter Celebration which parents can watch online December 16th-more details to come . We are also preparing for Deck the Windows! Keep an eye out after the 10th of December as Tuscany will decorate all the classroom windows of the school.
Before winter break, I will send out a plan for online learning and what you will expect during the 4 days online. I will give a break down of the groups and try to be mindful of siblings in older grades and their schedules as well. Please let me know if you have any question regarding online learning!

Festive Wear Week: December 14th-17th-Students can wear toques, hats,elf ears, reindeer antlers, earrings, headbands or anything else you can find.
Next week will be our last week with Mme Lynley. She will be back next semester ( In March) to finish off her degree, we cannot wait to have her back!!!!!

I would like to send a giant welcome to Mme Caroline. I will be sending out an email tomorrow with her introduction, I have no doubt she will be an amazing addition to our kinder family. With that being said we are also saying goodbye to Mme Lynley, we wish her nothing but the best moving forward!! Here is a message from Mme Lynley: Bonjour! Goodbyes are always bitter sweet. I am sad to leave Tuscany School (and your amazing kids!) but I am excited for my next steps in the world of education. I have absolutely enjoyed getting to know each and every one of our kindergarten students. They each have their own unique personalities and gifts. I will miss the laughter and the stories that we shared everyday. Thank you for this wonderful learning opportunity. Teaching is one of those crafts that is honed only by doing. I have learned so much from Mme Chelsey and your children. I will always remember these kids and what they have taught me. Thank you so much for this opportunity. I ...
